These nailpolishes are SO rad! I ordered 049 to use as a topcoat over other polishes since it's kinda sheer. SUPER pumped to see how it turns out!

New Swatches
My collection seems to be growing by the minute...
Essie Show Me The Ring
Essie Jelly Apple
Essie Pop-Art Pink
Essie Guilty Pleasures
Essie Marshmallow (ring finger only)
Sally Hansen Laser
OPI Birthday Babe
OPI Happy Anniversary
OPI Fireflies (crappy swatch, sorry :/ this polish probaby works better over something else)
OPI Russian Navy (similar color in swatch)
China Glaze Moonlight
Also, coming in the mail are:
China Glaze Re-fresh Mint
Orly Gumdrop
Essie Bright Tights
Essie Turquoise & Caicos
Color Club Rebel Debutante
PUMPED!
Also, I wanted you guys to know that I had my first successful pedicure the other day with no fainting, lol. AND I read about a way to revive old, dried up polishes. I guess polish never really goes bad and you can make it good as new with this stuff called Seche Restore. It's basically a thinner and you pour in enough to almost fill the bottle with the dried up polish, cap it, shake a it (some of the Restore might come out, but that's okay) and in like 10 min. you'll have your polish back. You might have to break up some of the dried bits with a toothpick, too. So rad. I can't tell you how many polishes I've tossed thinking they were done for. Cool ones too. Oh well. I hope you guys are having a good summer!
-Michelle
**UPDATE** If you guys can get your hands on Essie Red Nouveau, it's fantastic. I don't think I've ever worn a smoother, easy to paint on polish.

Green With Envy
THIS is the color I'm wearing right now (even though it's not the same brand, it's the same name and color, lol. The one I have is Sally Hansen). It's a total 1970s Tupperware pea green, but it's a little springier than the picture. My sister and I decided that we're renaming it "Barf Bag" because it kind of looked like puke at first, lol.
Also, I found my Sally Hansen Lite in one of my shoes this morning and my sister replaced my Sally Hansen Celeb City, so that's two polishes back that I thought were gone forever! Yay!

:)
Michelle, you're the best! I started reading those blogs you sent me and one of them shows the new color I got! So I am just stealing it. I have the Avon Jade and it looks adorable on my sunburned piggies... Yes, sunburned, because UW's graduation was 4 and a half hours long on the only sunny day we've had since break started.
Anyways, RIP Michelle's nail polish!
Miss you guys!

Yay!
Now we're all here! Let me know what you think about the colors and layout. I messed around with it a little bit...is it readable and all that?

RIP China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
Monday, June 7, 2010
Hey duders
Alrighty, so here's the blog. I've been home a week and already added three new colors to my collection. Kind of going in to withdrawal since the box with all my nail polish in it hasn't gotten here yet. I'll post a list of all the colors I have when it gets here, but currently what I have is:
OPI A Good Man-darin Is Hard To Find (matte bright orange, kind of like a mandarin, but almost hinting at coral. not quite traffic cone)
China Glaze Flip-Flop Fantasy (pinkpinkpinkpink! i haven't tried it yet, but i'm excited to!)
LA Girl Groupie (haven't tried this one yet either, but it's dark purple glitter)
Pictures soon, it's late and my room has awful lighting.

The Rules of the Sisterhood
1. You must request your colors at least a week prior to when you need them.
2. You must send the color requested of you at your earliest convenience, but preferably within a few days.
3. You must blog about new colors added to your collections, preferably with swatches (a really good description is also acceptable).
4. You must return colors to their original sender or forward them to another Sister within a week of painting your nails. This allows for any chipping and touch-ups or repaintings.
5. You can request up to three colors at a time.
6. You must bubble wrap your nail polishes prior to sending. Reuse your envelopes/boxes, too, if you can.
7. You must write to your Sisters on the blog throughout the time spent apart, no matter how much fun you are having without them. On the blog, you must document exciting/important/fun things that happened to you and what color you were wearing when it went down.
8. You can request to not lend out certain shades.
9. You must not lend out nailpolishes to outside parties unless they are from your own collection or you are having a nail party of your own and the borrowed polish does not leave your possession.
10. Remember: Nail parties = love. Love your friends. Love yourself.
